“Taking Steps”

‘I know, O Lord, that a man’s life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps.’ (Jeremiah 10:23) NIV

     We all have a spiritual journey that we have started. It began with us turning our lives over to Christ. As we progress in our daily walk with Christ we need to continually look to Him. Jesus is our heavenly father and like most parents He watches His children grow. He delights in our willingness to have a deeper connection with Him. Sometimes we do not realize that He is always there and that He is with us through every step of our growing process.  Jeremiah was praying for guidance. He was aware that he was not alone. He knew he could look to Jesus for direction with his steps. We need to be aware that Jesus will direct our steps. He is in control of our physical steps as well as our spiritual steps. God is ready for our growth spurt. For He already knows when it will be. We just need to turn to Him and pray, like Jeremiah, for God to direct our steps.

Grace wants to continue to challenge you to move forward Christ. There is so much more that God wants us to see and experience.
